Anyone who has seen Mel Mellers' DVD Modern Marvel was amazed at the entertainment one can get out of a "simple" feather duster trick.
Entertainment that, we think, even tops the "Twisted Bottles" routine!
Entertainment that works for children as well as adults and is therefore multifunctional!
What happens? You present two tubes empty, they actually are. Then you present two feather dusters, the child chooses one. Now you and the child put the feather duster with the handle first into the tube, then the tube is turned three times.
Logically, the feather dusters are upside down after the third turn.
Both then pull off the tubes, with the child's feather duster upside down and yours with the handle pointing downwards. This is repeated several times with a surprising ending.
If you now think that the child is being exposed by the repeated mistake, you are mistaken. Watching the live recording on the DVD, you could see how much fun the child has and how wonderfully a trick that actually has no ending is brought to a great conclusion!
We spent a long time on the trick, its technical features and routine before it was ready for series production.
This allowed us to eliminate all the weak points of previous executions. By exhausting optical tricks, the since unfavourable size ratio of stem and feather bush has been optimised, the function improved and the effect increased!
You only use the two feather bushes. You don't have to exchange anything or add a second bush or a kasche. The two tubes are actually empty at the beginning, during the routine and also at the end!
