Power of thought or cosmic energy - that is the question in this trick. The magician takes a pen and places it horizontally on the lid of a bottle.
The illusionist shows both hands empty and moves the hands towards the writing utensil.
Over a distance of many centimetres, i.e. without getting too close to the pen, the magician now allows his cosmic energy to act on the pen, which begins to move mysteriously and finally falls off the bottle.
A second demonstration of the bundled energy: The pen comes onto the bottle, the magician borrows a bangle from a spectator. The energy is now bundled in the centre of this hoop.
If the magician guides the ring along the pen, the pen turns slowly and hesitantly at first, then more and more wildly until it falls off the bottle!
An initiated spectator? No, because a third attempt proves it: this time the energy is bundled in a borrowed drinking glass.
From there it flows onto the pen, which begins to dance on the neck of the bottle and finally bounces off the bottle!
