Magic trick - Card trick double effect
A pack of cards is stripped with the back facing up. "There must have been a mistake when you wrapped it", you realise, because one half of the pack has a red back pattern, the other a blue one. Nevertheless, you want to try an experiment. The spectator is asked to push out any card from the red part. They do so and are asked to do the same for a card from the blue part. The red card goes into the blue pile, the blue into the red. Again, the pack is turned over and one card is not in the right pack. These two cards are now turned over. Surprisingly, they are two of the same card, e.g. two five of clubs. The spectators start to smile and assume that all the cards must be the same. They turn them over - they are indeed all the same cards, but they are all Eights of Diamonds!
- This card trick is easy to perform!
- Only the cards on the table are used.
- Everything can be checked!
The above card values serve as an example to illustrate the effect, we cannot guarantee a specific combination of values!
