Rupert Ingalese, born Paul Wingrave, was a British juggler who worked in the first half of the 1900s, both as a juggler and as a producer and manager of variety shows across England.
In 1917, he published the very first "learn to juggle" book, teaching in detail the methods used to learn traditional toss juggling as well as a variety of more esoteric juggling skills.
This edition offers complete annotations that add context to Ingalese's writing as well as asides that explain the work of other jugglers in the same time period.
