The Unicycle Duo Trapeze is a professional circus trapeze designed for aerial training, performances and circus arts. Trapezes made by the French manufacturer Unicycle have been used for many years in children's and youth circuses as well as by professional circus artists.
The special feature of this model is its extended trapeze bar. The central section measures 55 cm, while the bar extends approximately 15 cm beyond the ropes on each side, resulting in a total bar width of approximately 85 cm. These additional side sections provide further possibilities for positions, figures and tricks compared with a conventional trapeze.
The hollow steel bar has a diameter of 25 mm and is powder-coated in black or white depending on the selected version. Black or white tape around the bar provides additional grip.
Benefits and Applications
The Duo Trapeze with extended bar ends is suitable for circus schools, children's and youth circuses, training facilities and professional circus artists. The approximately 15 cm extensions on both sides provide additional areas of the bar that can be incorporated into different trapeze figures.
Two cotton ropes, each measuring 2.50 m in length and 24 mm in diameter, connect the trapeze bar to the upper suspension points. Two carabiners are attached to the upper thimbles for suspension.
The manufacturer's specified load ratings are WLL 225 daN and BLL 1575 daN. All applicable requirements concerning installation, anchor points, use, inspection and maintenance must be observed.
Further Important Information
The trapeze should always be stored in a dry and well-ventilated location. Never wrap tape around the ropes or splices, as trapped moisture may promote mould growth.
The user must inspect the splices regularly. The rope length can be adjusted by carefully twisting the rope strands as required. Regular visual and safety inspections are particularly important when the trapeze is used for aerial circus training and performances.
