Thanks to the attachment and the matching filter, the observation of sunspots, for example, is also possible without hesitation. The filter made of double aluminised, CE-certified Baader AstroSolarTM foil with a filter factor of 1:100,000 (opt. density 5) has proven itself a million times over during the 1999 solar eclipse and offers optimum safety for the eye.
