At approx. 88 g, the ALIENS HMS Classic ScrewLock carabiner is quite light in its class. The generous gate opening of 23 mm makes it easy to insert the rope or clip the carabiner into the respective anchor point. The ALIENS HMS Classic ScrewLock complies with EN 12275 (standard for sports karabiners) and EN 362 (standard for commercial and industrial applications, such as fall protection, restraint systems, anchorages or similar). The breaking values of the ALIENS HMS Classic ScrewLock with 25 kN in the longitudinal axis, 9 kN in the transverse axis and 8 kN in the "open breaking load" are quite respectable, need not shy away from any competition and are completely sufficient "in day-to-day business". Due to its round profile, all ropes, lines and slings run nicely and undisturbed through the karabiner. Due to the round profile of the material, we achieve large and continuous contact surfaces, targeted control of slip knots and protection of rope and slings. The so-called "half-mast throw" can also be operated well. The bolts of the fasteners run very well. The carabiners have an individual serial number and can therefore be clearly identified.
