Earth's timeline - the history of our planet
Prehistory by the metre. THE EARTH TIME INCH STICK
How long did the Palaeozoic era last? Which epoch preceded the Jurassic? When did the sailing dinosaur Dimetrodon hunt? And how many million years ago did the first vertebrates take to the land and the air? In cooperation with the renowned Senckenberg Research Institute and Natural History Museum with its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the four-colour printed ErdzeitZollstock (Earth's Time Folders) was created, which puts billions of years of the Earth's history into the picture. From the Precambrian to the Quaternary, the ErdzeitZollstock shows each epoch, cubit by cubit, in words and pictures. As with the KunstZollstock, the front of the ErdzeitZollstock shows the development in four-colour print. On the back, there is a millimetre scale next to the explanations of the illustrations on the front, as well as a true-to-scale timeline of the entire history of the Earth with representations of continental drift from early times to the present.
