A trick that is out of the ordinary - and where your audience learns a lot about fair trade, environmentally friendly packaging, African vegetable dyes and a Maasai tribal war.

The presentation of the trick

But the magic moment is also exciting and spectacular! In the course of the story, which we of course supply as a basic framework, you stretch a handkerchief onto a wooden frame. This is sunk into a paper bag just big enough to fit the frame! Then ram a long knife right through the bag and thus through the stretched handkerchief. To prove that the hole is actually there, they stick a silk scarf through the forcibly made opening and pull the silk scarf forwards and backwards!

A second hole is poked, and a cloth is pulled through this one too. A third, a fourth, ...if you like, poke 10 or more holes through the bag and cloth with the martial knife. If it's fun, put a funnel through one of the holes and pour water through it, which runs into a bowl held under the bag! Everything proves that the handkerchief must be totally perforated - at the end and after a Massai spell, you pull the frame out of the bag with the handkerchief stretched on it. Of course, the handkerchief is firmly clamped in the frame and does not have the smallest hole!

Important for you:

The handkerchief is firmly stretched on the frame with pin wall nails, if you want a spectator can assist!
The knife is a normal bread or meat knife with a long blade from your kitchen stock, so it has no preparation.
You can pierce the knife at any point through the frame and thus through the cloth! It is not like other models that the knife can only be thrust through one half or through the diagonal.
The handkerchief can also be borrowed.
The whole trick seems extremely spectacular and puzzling, but it is easy to learn and just as easy to perform!
You get everything ready to demonstrate, i.e. the frame, a handkerchief to practise on, the pinboard nails and some paper bags. You only need to provide a knife (long and sharp) and some silk scarves.
